My name is A. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I started writing letters to my Dad after he died unexpectedly in 2021.

It started out as a private journal, telling him how much I love and miss him. Quickly it changed into asking him for advice, his thoughts, opinions, and telling him what was going on in my life. I know he can't answer me but it makes me feel closer to him, like I have a part of him that is just me and him that no one knows about.

A few months later, it occurred to me that I wanted the world to know him, to know the amazing human and father he was. To share his teachings and life lessons. To help others that are going through the same grief and pain I am. Others who don't yet feel able to put in words what they are feeling. Others who need to know they are not alone. That was when I decided to start sharing these letters.
